MALÉV Hungarian Airlines
MSP Solutions designed a company wide efficiency programme aimed at boosting revenues and cutting costs. Development of the programme, named reMAke, involved the support and effort of 70 Malév employees.
reMAke is now in the process of implementation by the CEO, Péter Leonov.

Arab Air Carriers Organisation
Laurence Heath, a director of MSP Solutions, has led a Fleet Planning Seminar on behalf of the Arab Air Carriers Organisation (AACO). The seminar was held in Cairo 8-11 May and was attended by representatives from Egyptair, Kuwait Airways and Qatar Airways. Key themes included the need of airlines to maximise asset productivity and to control costs through the selection of appropriate aircraft types.

Namibia
MSP Solutions has been working with Jacobs Consulting on a project for the Government of Namibia that has been funded by the European Union. The brief is to assess the impact of Air Namibia on the national economy and to evaluate the future viability of the airline. Recommendations, including a proposed new strategy for Air Namibia were presented to the Cabinet Committee in February. Laurence Heath, a director of MSP Solutions, and John Williams who is a senior consultant have been working on this project.

Kazakhstan
MSP solutions worked for over a year with the Kazakhstan Government, International Airport Astana and Air Astana, assisting in developing growth strategies for both the national airline and the capital city airport. MSP Solutions undertook considerable work in generating passenger growth forecasts, airline route analysis and operating costs. MSP Solutions also assisted in ensuring the new terminal building met operational readiness. We also drew-up plans, and assisted in their implementation, for short-term improvements, plus a medium term development strategy.
